Dr. Rui Chen is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, specializing in radio frequency systems and optical wireless communications. Rui earned a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge in 2021, following a Master's degree with distinction from the University of Glasgow in 2016.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Rui is an avid rower and clay pigeon shooter. His team won blades in the May Bumps 2019 and the Varsity Clay Pigeon Match in 2024. Rui also serves as the President of the Cambridge Speakers Club.
